Last August 22, Banksy amazed us with the opening of an unconventional art exhibition called Dismaland in Weston-super-Mare (Bristol Channel coast). Veiled in his usual mystery, he created a satirical theme park full of social criticism and totally up for discussion.
Experimental and interactive, this subversive show had the collaboration of 58 international artists, including Banksy, Damien Hirst, Samy Moussa, David Shrigley, Darren Cullen, Jimmy Cauty, Jenny Holzer, ESCIF and Paco Pomet. It will be running until next September 27.
The artist, who does not need to be seen to be famous, remains at the cutting age of his personal war against the establishment.
